Srinagar, Feb 28 (KS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reiterated the government’s stance on holding talks with Pakistan, stating that instead of engaging with the neighbouring country, the focus will be on engaging with the people of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly the youth.

Speaking to national TV, LG Sinha made it clear, as per the news agency Kashmir Scroll, that the policy of the Government of India and the Jammu and Kashmir administration is crystal clear. Until Pakistan displays a change in its behavior, there will be no talks with the neighboring country.

When asked about the possibility of talks in the event that Pakistan does not change its behavior in the future, LG Sinha affirmed that discussions will only take place when Pakistan demonstrates a genuine change in approach. Until then, there will be no talks with Pakistan. (KS)
