Srinagar : Jammu Kashmir Police Monday said it will strictly deal with those ‘mischievous’ elements responsible for posting ‘fake’ orders on social media networking sites.

Director General Police Dilbagh Singh said that police have in fact started taking action against ‘mischievous’ elements who are trying to create panic among people.

“There is nothing to worry. People should not take these fake orders seriously.

Some miscreants are hell bent to disturb the peace in Valley and they will certainly face the music,” Singh told news agency Kashmir News Trust.

A large number of alleged fake orders are making rounds on social media networking sites these days indicating the possible deterioration of law and order problem in coming days.

In fact, in one of the ‘fake’ orders that is viral people have been advised to stock their ration and park their vehicles in garages.

DGP Dilbagh Singh while dispelling such rumors said these miscreants will be identified and booked as per law.

He appealed people not to give any heed to rumors.
