Ganderbal 23 oct (KNZ):Ganderbal Police under the supervision of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS, inaugurated “Martyrs Police premier league” at Qamariya play Ground.
The Cricket tournament is being organized in the loving memory of J&K Police martyrs who had laid down their lives to uphold the integrity and sovereignty of Nation.
The Cricket Tournament will be played on knock out basis. In the said tournament, sixteen Cricket teams of boys are going to participate.
The inaugural match was played between United 11 Ganderbal and Panzan Falqan.
SSP Ganderbal in his message urged upon the participating teams to play their matches with high spirit of professionalism.
Such sports activities being organized by J&K Police provides a better platform for the sports persons to explore their talents and channelizing their energy in right directions.
SSP Ganderbal among Commanding officer 24 RR Col Dvs Reddy, Additional SP Ganderbal Feroz Yehya,Dysp Hqr Gh Hassan And other officials were present on the occasion.KNZ
