Srinagar, Feb 10: Well academics don’t matter when you have a different passion to chase. Same is the case with this 25-year-old girl, who is trained to handle theatrical equipment now a successful craftswoman knitting yarn with all the skill.

From seeking the knowledge of operation theatre basics, surgical instruments and turning around to the profession of knitting yarn and wool, this girl is brimming with skill.

The journey of this young girl has been quite peculiar. Rabia Sultan Shah, 25, who hails from Qamarwari area of Kashmir capital Srinagar has become a professional knitter and is turning yarn into real art with her magic hands.

Rabia says she completed her bachelor’s in Operation Theatre Technology but being attracted towards art from her childhood she let herself towards craftsmanship with dedication and will power to turn yarn strains into beautiful handicrafts.

Rabia according to the family was a skilful child from babyhood, she always let passion drive and motivate her to craft things out from crap.
