Eight candidates to contest polls for BJP in Sopore

Sopore, 02 Oct (GNS) : The candidate who earlier filled his nomination papers to contest election as an Independent candidate in Apple Town of North Kashmir’, has joined hands towards Safron party on Monday.
Sources told GNS that a candidate who earlier filled nomination papers as an Independent candidate on Monday had joined Bharatiya Janata Party.
With his joining safron party, BJP is the only party without opposition to contest Urban Local Body polls for third phase in Sopore which is scheduled on 13th October.
Pertinently this is first time when two women of Apple Town showed their intrest towards Safron party and will contest ULB election for ward number 01 and ward number 04.(GNS)
