Kishtwar Police of PS Marwah apprehended an other absconder,(Ex-Militant) who was evading arrest from the last 20 years.
On a specific information received through reliable sources a special police team of PS Mawah was constituted. The team led by SHO Marwah Insp Parvaiz Ahmed alongwith his team under the supervission of SDPO Marwah Sh. Nisar Ahmed Khoja raided the suspected locations and arrested the absconder.
The arrested absconder (ex-militant), identified as Abdul Gani @ Mavia S/o Abdul Aziz Sheikh R/o Rar Marwah Kishtwar, wanted in case FIR No. 42/2001 U/Sec.302,364/ RPC 7/27 IA Act registered at Police Station Marwah. Thereafter said absconder has been produced before the Hon’ble Court Kishtwar and accordingly on the orders of the Hon’ble Court the accused has been lodged in judicial custody
