Ganderbal 19 August (KNZ):Even as the government has claimed to provide tap water to the entire households in Jammu and Kashmir by March 2022, various villages located in several townships are craving for potable water.

Residents of Kachnambal Bala village of Kangan Tehsil in Ganderbal District which is about 5 kms from Kangan main town area have alleged that tall claims of Jal Shakti Department are getting punctured here as authorities have failed to provide drinking water facility to the area.

The locals said that the authorities have ‘failed’ to install water pipelines to supply potable water to the village.

The inhabitants said that the village is without drinking water facility as no water pipeline has been installed here so far, thus leaving the entire population to consume unsafe water.
