Srinagar: As a mark of respect to Dr. Sonam Dawa Lonpo, Chairman / Chief Executive Councillor, IAHDC, Leh who passed away on 29th January, 2018 (Monday), the State Government has decided that. The State Mourning shall be observed for 3 days w.e.f 30.01.2018 (Tuesday) to 01.02.2018 (Thursday); the National and State Flags shall fly at half mast during the State Mourning on all buildings and places where these are flown regularly; there shall be no official entertainment function during the State Mourning; and State holiday in the memory of departed soul shall be for 31th January, 2018.
The above decisions are brought to the notice of all concerned for information and necessary action.
