Says arms & ammunition recovered
Srinagar, Sep 08 (KS) : Jammu and Kashmir police arrested hybrid militant and his associate in Pakharpora area of Central Kashmir Budgam district on Friday afternoon.
in a statement issued to news agency Kashmir Scroll said that The duo have been identified as Tanveer Ahmad Bhat son of Gh. Mohd Bhat resident of Karapora Chararsharief, a hybrid militant and his associate Yawer Maqbool Ganai son of Mohd Maqbool Ganaie resident of Karapora Charar-Sharief.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested duo were operating under the banner of proscribed terror outfit LeT/ TRF) in Pakherpora area.
From their possession, arms & ammunition including 01 Pistol, 01 Pistol magazine, 9 rounds and other incriminating material were recovered.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Chrar-i-Sharief & further investigation has been taken up. reads the statement.(KS)
