Srinagar, Mar 28: Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Thursday paid tributes to slain militants who were killed in an encounter with forces in South Kashmir’s Shopian district today.

Operational Spokesman Hizb-ul-Mujahideen Burhan-u-Din in a tele statement to KNS quoted the outfit Chief Syed Salahudin, Deputy Chief Saifullah Khalid and Filed Operational Commander Mohammad Bin Qasim as paying tributes to slain Shopian militants.

He identified the slain militants as Aqib Dar, Sajad Khanday, Basharat, adding that several forces personnel were also injured in the gunfight.

Condemning NIA raids to Syed Salahudin’s home, Hizb operation spokesman quoted Salahudin as appealing Civil Society to investigate whether there is any increase in his property from 1988.

He said that despite NIA raids, the struggle in Kashmir will continue till logical conclusion.(KNS)
