Tral, 04 August: The locals in Gujjar Basti Gulshanpora in Tral area on Tuesday have expressed resentment against government for failing to provide basic facilities to them.

A delegation of locals have said that road leading towards the village is in dilapidated condition while shortage of water is quite evident there.

They said that “it has been a long time, since the road was repaired in the area, that too without any macadamization, due to which it developed potholes with each passing day.”

“We are facing inconveniences on daily basis, while travelling on the dilapidated road. Shortage of drinking water supply in the village is another issue which is yet to be solved,” residents said.

They further added that “area was upgraded to model village, some years back with no major development on ground so far.”

The residents demanded immediate intervention of government & said that road must be repaired and water crisis must be mitigated at the earliest.
