Shopian: A Grand Final for the inter-District Volley Ball Tournament Held in Ahagam, Shopian which was an initiative by 44Rastriya Rifles on 30 June.
In Inter District Volley ball Tournament in which 12 Teams had Participated with Great enthusiasm and spirit.People of adjoining villages also joined the occasion and had spend a Good Time in conversation with Company Commander of Ahagam.
The Tournament was played on knock out basis which has started on the end of June Month.Tweleve Teams were from Ahagam,Pirpora,Arihel,
Marhang and others.
Final Match Played between Marheng and Ahgam in which Ahgam Shopia won the Trophy.Later Commanding officer of 44 Rastriya Rifles had Addressed the Gathering and told them that their own Army is at their Door Step always for any Assistance.
Later the Final Ceremony held in which winning players were Given Cash prize along with Trophy as Memorabilia.Players expressed their gratitude towards 44 Rashtriye Rifles for organising this events in which Youth are engaging and they are ready to align themseleves with mainstream. These events generates goodwill among people and we develop a ecosystem of codependence. Many village elders also expressed their determination and presented their will to be unite at one Line.
