Bandipora, Sep 14: Government Girls Higher Secondary school on Tuesday released a newly designed magazine- ‘Nargis’ in its school auditorium in presence of officers, staff members, and students during a short yet impressive function.

  The magazine was released by the Chief Education Officer Bandipora Ab Roub Shaad  who was also the Chief Guest on the occasion. Among the others who were present on the occasion include Deputy Chief Education Officer Bandipora Sheikh Ghulam Mohammad,Principal Higher Secondary School Aloosa,Mohammad Ramzan Bhat ,Principal GHSS Mohammad Rafiq Parrey ,Zonal education officer Bandipora, Mohammad Syed Shah and District coordinator cultural wing chief education office Dr Reyaz ul Hassan.

The magazine releasing ceremony was the first of its kind since the outbreak of the pandemic. The magazine release function was followed by the school anthem presented by the students of the institution.The school committee that was set for its release and trained the students for the event includes Ab Qayoom  Bhat, Javid Ahmad Jan,Romana Ashraf and Javid Ahmad Mir.

 Chief Education Officer Bandipora praised the efforts of the school for making its release possible in these tough times of pandemic. He said “it  is an important step in order to explore the creativity of the students” and congratulated the school for its accomplishment. He also distributed the certificates among the meritorious students of the institution.

The magazine has glossy pages showcasing the achievements and the targets achieved by the school besides the articles contributed by the students .It has an attractive cover page with profound messages from the Director school education Kashmir,District development commissioner Bandipora,Chief  Education Officer Bandipora and principal of the school Mohammad Rafiq Parrey who also presented the welcome address of the event.Ishtiyaq Hussain Samoon carried the proceedings of the event and vote of thanks was presented by Nayeem Ahmad Parrey.
