Ganderbal:On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS, under the supervision of DySP Hqr’s Ganderbal, Special Police Team led by I/C Police Post Shadipora apprehended a Drug Peddler alongwith huge consignment of Psychotropic Substance.
In the jurisdiction of PP Shadipora, one notorious drug peddler was arrested in a Scorpio Bearing Regd.No.JK01V-7981 at Waskoora & Psychotropic Substance Codeine Phosphate, 140 Bottles were recovered from his possession, which he had kept concealed under the window cardboards of his Scorpio vehicle.
The said vehicle was seized on the spot. The accused identified as Ajaz Ahmad Malik S/O Manzoor Ahmad Malik R/O Waskoora has been arrested & Psychotropic Substance was Seized on the spot.
In this regard Case FIR No.121/2023, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Ganderbal and investigation has been taken up.
Ganderbal Police assures general public that war against drugs shall continue & requests all the respectable Citizens of the society to co-operate with J&K Police for eliminating & uprooting this dreadful menace.
