Ganderbal 03 May (KNZ):On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar-IPS, under the supervision of DySP Hqr’s Ganderbal, Special Police Team led by SHO Gulzar Ahmad of PS Safapora arrested two Drug Peddlers along with Narcotic Substance.
During Naka checking at Gulab Sheikh crossing Safapora, two persons namely Mohd Shafi Ganie S/O Noor Mohd Ganie R/O Waripora & Jamshed Maqbool Wani S/O Mohd Maqbool Wani R/O Wani Mohalla Safapora were apprehended with Contraband substance like Cannabis & Bhang Patri. The accused were arrested & Narcotic Substance Seized on the spot.
In this regard case FIR No.13/2023, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Safapora and investigation has been taken up.
Ganderbal Police assures general public that war against drugs shall continue & requests all the respectable Citizens of the society to co-operate with J&K Police for eliminating & uprooting this dreadful menace.KNZ
