Srinagar, May 12 (KNO): Awantipora Police on Tuesday claimed to have busted a module of the militant associates of Jaish-e-Mohammad, saying that the module was involved in providing shelter, logistics to the JeM militants and transporting arms and ammunition of the militants in Khrew area.

Police in a statement issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that all the four arrested militant associates identified as Shabir Ahmad Parray, Sheeraz Ahmad Dar, Shafat Ahmad Mir and Ishfaq Ahmad Shah belongs to Bathen area of Khrew and have been operating in the whole Khrew area as well as forest area of the Khrew and Tral.

“Incriminating material including explosive material and ammunition has been recovered from them in Bathen area. A case under FIR number 18/2020 has been registered against the arrested persons in Police Station Khrew under relevant sections of law,” police said—(KNO)
