Srinagar, July 20 (KS):- Four members of a honey trap gang were arrested in Srinagar district on Thursday.
“4 members of a honey trap gang arrested 1.Firdous Ahmed Mir
of Rainawari (fake SP) 2.Mohd Tariq Mir of lal bazar( Fake reporter) 3.Ashiya of Bemina (pseudo honey trap girl) 4.Masrat Mir of Habba kadal (fake crime branch officer).” Srinagar police in a tweet as per news agency Kashmir Scroll
“They use to lure gullible people & extort money. The Girl used to set up meeting with the gullible person. The other members of gang would impersonate as professionals like reporters/police & then blackmail the victim. One house of female accused in Mehjoor Nagar
was used. FIR no 68/2023 U/s 392,472,419 IPC at Sadar PS.” Police tweeted later.(KS)
