Baramulla, Sep 14 (KB): The security forces, on Friday said they have arrested two suspected individuals in north Kashmir’s Uri Baramulla, and have recovered pistols, Hand Grenades & other war-like stores from them.

Officials told the Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that, based on credible intelligence inputs, a Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) was swiftly established on September 14, 2023, in the strategic town of Uri, Baramulla. “The operation was initiated with the primary objective of responding to potential threats and ensuring the safety of the local populace.” During the course of the operation, forces arrested two individuals who were under suspicion for their activities.

Furthermore, “a significant cache of weapons and ammunition was seized during the operation, including 02x Pistols, 05x Hand Grenades, and various other war-like stores,” they added, while mentioning that the identification of the individuals has been eastained. (Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
