Udhampur: A fire incident that took place in a pesticide factory in Battal industrial Estates, Udhampur during night hours, has destroyed the factory. However no loss to life was reported from the place.
Fire started around midnight and was doused by 4.30am in the morning.
No loss of life is reported and 7 fire tenders were deployed and put out the fire.
Indian Air Force was also requisitioned for putting off the fire and smoke to avoid pollution to the nearby population.
Residue chemicals were still giving out smoke when the last reports came in.
