Srinagar: Fire broke out in the Central University of Kashmir, Nowgam on Tuesday resulting in chaos in the campus, sources said.

They said that fire broke out in the Journalism department however it was stopped from spreading by timely intervention.

Sources in the University said that no one was hurt in the incident and the flames have been completely doused.
Cause of the fire was being ascertained, they said.
