Ganderbal, May 10, 2019:- District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of District Ganderbal was convened under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan at Meeting Hall, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal here today.
The chair was informed that the banks extend Rs 547 Crores for the financial year 2018-19 against the target of 645 Crores thereby registering an achievement of 85% of ACP

The meeting was attended by ADDC Ganderbal, Shafaqat Iqbal, CPO Ganderbal, Lead District Manager Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad, Cluster Head JK Bank, Farhat Abbas, LDO RBI, DDM NABARD, Director RSETI, Manzoor Hamdani, coordinators from banks and the participants from all the line departments.

At the outset of the meeting, Lead District Manager, Farooq Ahmad Wani briefed the house about the achievements of the banks operating in the district under District Credit Plan 2018 -19. The total credit layout of the district is 645 Crores.

The meeting was informed that the banks have disbursed a total amount of Rs: 547 Crores for establishment of 20543 units up to March 2019 under DCP 2018-19 out of which Rs 268 Crores was extended for establishment of 12204 units under priority sector registering an achievement of 57% and Rs 279 Crores was allotted to establishing 8339 units under non- priority sector registering achievement of 160%. Out of priority sector Agriculture and allied activities registered 42%, MSMEs 77%, Education 66% and housing 95% for the year 2018-19.

Deposits of the district have increased by 26.43% and advances by 20.97 % when compared on YOY basis. CD ratio of the district stands at 66%, which is above the RBI prescribed target of 60%.
