GANDERBAL, JUNE 29: District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal, today chaired District Level Review Committee (DLRC) to review the performance of banks and line departments during the financial year 2019-20 under ACP and government schemes.
The meeting was attended by, CPO Ganderbal. Lead District Manager, Ganderbal, Cluster head JK Bank, DDM NABARD, Director RSETI, Ganderbal District, officers of line departments and District coordinators of Banks and other officers of the line departments.
The meeting discussed in details the progress and achievements made by banks in the implementation of various government sponsored schemes like, KCC, NRLM, Housing for all, SHG, JLG, Handloom, weavers Mudra, PMEGP and Stand Up India.
Besides the sponsored schemes, loans provide by banks under direct lending mode was also discussed.
Giving details about the performance of banks, LDM, Nissar Ahmad informed that banks have disbursed an amount of Rs.501.66 crores as against the target of 594.49 crores, thus achieving a total of 85% of the ACP for FY 2019-20. Also LDM informed the house that the total deposits of the district have increased from RS 1430.73 crores as on 31.03.2019 to 1542.54 crores as on 31.03.2020 and witnessed a growth of 8% on YOY basis. While advances have grown from 845.41 crores as on 31.03.2019 to 1078.96 crores as on 31.3.2020, registering a growth of 14% on YOY basis.
While discussing the DC Ratio of the district, the meeting was informed that DC Ratio stands at 70%, which is above the national benchmark of 60%.
