February 17:- District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal today chaired a meeting with all BDC chairpersons in which he underlined the important role of BDC chairpersons in implementation of various schemes and their role in development of their respective areas.
The meeting was attended by CPO Ganderbal, ACD Ganderbal, District Panchayat Officer, all BDC Chairpersons and other concerned officers BDC chairpersons apprised the DDC about various issues pertaining in their areas. DDC assured all the BDC Chairpersons that full cooperation will be extended to them. During the meeting DDC impressed upon all BDC chairpersons and other officers to work in close coordination to get better results in execution of developmental works in their areas. He also impressed upon them to monitor all developmental works and to ensure quality material is being used by executing agencies.
