Ganderbal 12 Sept:Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Dr.Piyush on tuesday called for early redressal of public grievances besides effective implementation of various government schemes for public welfare and overall development of the district.

 

DDC said this while holding a public grievance redressal camp along with district and sectoral officers at Tehsil Wakura in Central Kashmir Ganderbal.

During the camp DDC interacted with the people of the area and resolved the problems highlighted by the public by passing on sopt instructions/directions to the district officers.

The people of the area apprised the DDC about various demands including road connectivity to the area, supply of clear drinking water, repair of transformers, placing of adequate staff in health and education sector besides the demand for construction of an upgraded health centre at Wakura.

While briefing the gathering, DDC informed about various developmental initiatives taken by the government and asked the people to come forward for participatory planning.

Dr.Piyush further assured the people that more such grievance camps shall be organized for helping the rural population and getting their problems mitigated within shortest possible time.
