District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal yesterday evening paid a surprise visit to various PHCs of the district to check the medical facilities being provided to the patients and to ensure the presence of doctors and paramedical staff to attend the patients.The Primary Heath Centers that the DDC visited include PHC Wakura, PHC Tulmulla, PHC Batwina and PHC KachanDuring his visit, apart from checking the attendance of employees, the DDC took stock of the availability of various medical and other necessary facilities in the centre.
The concerned officials briefed the DDC about the facilities being provided to the patients. The DDC also interacted with the patients and enquired about the healthcare facilities in the PHCs. He also visited different sections and wards of the hospital.
