KARGIL, FEBRUARY 04, 2021: Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary took stock of the ongoing renovation works of Auditorium Kargil here on Wednesday.
The DC was accompanied by the Superintendent of Police (SP) Kargil Anayat Ali Choudhary, Additional SP Kargil Iftikhar Talib Choudhary, Executive Engineer PDD Altaf Hussain, besides other concerned officers.
The DC reviewed the progress achieved on the renovation and repair works at the Auditorium where he also inspected the sound system, lighting, designs, heating system, seating arrangements and other related aspects.
Baseer instructed the concerned contractor and the departments concerned to fast pace the execution of works and complete the remaining works within 20 days time.
He also stressed officers concerned to keep in mind all quality and quantity parameters during the execution of work.
Later, the DC also first visited the old building of Municipal Committee/Labour Department, Kargil and instructed the concerned officers to carry out its renovation. He also visited the District Information Center Kargil and reviewed the functioning of the office.
