GANDERBAL: The Deputy Commissioner
Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of Integrated Grievance redressal and monitoring system (IGRAMS) in the district.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, ACR, SDM Kangan, CPO, CMO, Executive Engineers of Jal Shakti, R&B and PMGSY, DFO Sindh, ARTO, all Tehsildars, BDOs and other concerned officials.

During the meeting DC took review of disposal of grievances department wise and instructed the officers to ensure quality disposal of grievances of the public within stipulated time frame.

It was informed that 310 grievances are received on IGRAMS out of which 285 are disposed of and 25 are under process.

While reviewing the disposal of grievances, the DC took strong note against the poor performances of few departments and said
action will follow if any laxity is found while addressing the people’s grievances.

He reiterated that district administration is committed tensure quality disposal of grievances of general public within the shortest possible time stating that there is round the clock monitoring of the complaints and grievances lodged by the people.
