GANDERBAL, JANUARY 31: The Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today launched the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) Programme at District Hospital Ganderbal in presence of Chief Medical Officer Ganderbal, DHO, Medical Superintendent DH and other concerned.
Under the programme 48013 children in the age group of 0-5 years will be administered vaccines at 232 vaccinations booths to immunize them against the disease during the programme.
For the smooth conduct of program, 956 workers have been deployed including supervisors, health workers, ASHA Workers, Anganwari workers besides volunteer workers who will carry door-to-door visit in their allotted areas to ensure no child is left out of the vaccination programme.
