Tral: With the motive to provide helping hand to needy amid the COVID-19 lockdown in the state, Ansar-Ul-Masakeen trust in collaboration with Al-Huda Pulwama and Khidmat foundation trust on Tuesday distributed food kits among dozens of poor families in upper reaches of Tral sub district.

One of the members has, said that these NGOs had made a list of needy in Nagbal, Machama, Zrarihar, Narastan and other adjoining areas of Tral sub division, following which they distributed food kits among them yesterday.

On that occasion, Afiqa Ali, Chairman, Ansar-Ul-Masakeen trust, said that her organisation has been working from frontline, for the welfare of needy people, since the outbreak of Covid-19.

She said that today’s distribution process was jointly held by three NGOs, including her Ansar-Ul-Masakeen trust, Al-Huda, & Khidmat foundation trust.

During the distribution, the packets, which contained essential commodities were given to the needy families.

Besides that, the NGOs distributed face masks among the people in many areas of Tral town.
