Shopian, Sep 08 (KS) : Chief Justice Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakah Hon’ble Shri Justice N. Kotiswar Singh on Friday visited Court complex Shopian and took preparedness of ongoing work of Court complex and review functioning of courts.

While talking with the news agency Kashmir Scroll said we took the preparedness of the ongoing work and discussed different issues, pending work will be completed soon to give sigh of relief to litigants.

During the visit he met with judicial officers and bar association and discussed the pace of ongoing work and took part in plantation drive at court complex Shopian.

Advocate Shabir Ahmad Kullay, President Bar Association Shopian, while talking with media said, it was the routine visit and he took preparedness of the ongoing work, during the discussions we requested the Chief Justice to provide Additional District Court, Consumer Court, Traffic Court and TADA Court which are pending till date.

“He assured us that he will look into it and fulfill our demands on priority basis”, Kullay said.

The Hon’ble Chief Justice was accompanied by the Principal Secretary, M K Sharma, District Development Commissner Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb, District Principal & Sessions Judge, Riyaz Ul Haq Mirza, SSP Shopian Tanushree, Chief Judicial Majistrate, Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone, Secretary DLSA Susheel Singh, Munsiff Brijraj Singh, Bar President , other officers, Bar members
