Bijbehara, Jan 17 (KNO): The body of a man recovered on Sunday afternoon from river Jhelum at Sangam area of Bijbehara was identified, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a male body was spotted by some locals in river Jhelum at Sangam in afternoon and accordingly informed the police, who later recovered the body.
They identified him as Sanaullah Chopan (55), son of Abdul Aziz Chopan of Kelam Bozgam, Kulgam.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been started—(KNO)
