Srinagar, July 01 (KS) : The body of a man, who had jumped into the river Jhelum in Qamarwari area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar was fished out after 3 days.
An official told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that the man had jumped into the river Jhelum at Qamarwari Cement bridge in Srinagar on Wednesday 28th June 2023.
He said that after hectic efforts, his body was fished out from the river near Panzinara Srinagar today.
“After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family for last rites,” he said.
The official said that the police have already registered a case in this regard and are investigating the matter—(KS)
