Ganderbal 23 May (KNZ):BJP District President Ganderbal Mr Gh Hassan Rather today extended greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr and prayed for their well being.
BJP District President Ganderbal has felicitated people on the very auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr, hoping that the occasion will be the harbinger of peace and stability in the entire world especially in Jammu and Kashmir.
Eid Ul Fitr is a unique occasion, full of blessing from Almighty Allah providing us the opportunity to enlighten ourselves about the right and the wrong, besides guiding us to follow the path of righteousness and truthfulness Gh Hassan Rather said.
No congregation is allowed during Eid and we have appealed that celebrations should be done inside the house. We have also appealed not to spend money on shopping and purchasing. Instead, the money should be distributed among the poor and sufferers in this crisis,” It’s important that we take precautions & maintain social distancing. We should stay away from shaking hands & hugging. We should follow govt’s guidelines,he added
As the Muslims follow Lunar calendar, the fasting month of Ramadhan will come to an end with the sighting of crescent this evening or tomorrow evening.
