Bandipora police continuing its efforts to root out the menace of drug abuse arrested one drug peddler and recovered 10 KGs of poppy straw from his possession.
Acting on a specific information police party of Police station Hajin led by SHO PS-Hajin during naka checking at Higher secondery school Hajin noticed suspicious movement of a pedestrian carrying a bag,on search of his bag, poppy straw weighing10 KG’S was recovered.The accused person has been identified as Aijaz Ahmad Hurrah R/o Parray Mohallah Hajin.
In this regard Case FIR No. 39/2020 under different sections of NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Hajin and further investigation taken up.
