Also distributes sanctions letters under various schemes along with Director I&C among beneficiaries


GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 02: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today visited Panchayat Halqa Rangil where he listened to the public demands under fourth phase of the ambitious ‘Back to Village’ program at Govt Middle School Rangil.
On the occasion, the DC had a brief interaction with the PRI members and locals regarding the status of various government schemes being implemented in their respective areas and interacted with the youth club members who shared their views regarding the status of development works and implementation of self-employment schemes.
Visiting Officer, Director Industries and Commerce (I&C) Kashmir, Saloni Rai; Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani; Chief Planning Officer, ACD, ACR, CMO, CEO, Executive Engineers of various departments besides other district and sectoral Officers were also present at the programme site.
The programme witnessed overwhelming participation of locals along with PRIs and youth club members who apprised the DC about various issues ranging from augmentation of power and water supply, development of roads, issues of play field, Dispensary, removal of encroachments and other issues of public importance.
The DC gave patient hearing to the issues raised and assured that all genuine issues will be redressed in a time bound manner.
While interacting with the youth, the DC said that B2V4 is focusing on creating self-employment opportunities for the youth of J&K and complemented them for participating in the program and sharing their valuable feedback.
He asked them to make locals aware about the digital services available and suggested to make maximum use of Janbhagidari Portal so that they could remain updated about the status of development progress in their area and could also verify such works.
Director Industries and Commerce also shared her feedback regarding the implementation of various beneficiary oriented schemes in the Panchayat Halqa Rangil and appreciated the locals who enthusiastically participated in the program and expressed their views. She said that continuous follow-up will be taken to ensure timely redressal of issues and demands raised.
Earlier, the DC and Director I&C along with PRIs distributed sanctions letters of various beneficiary oriented schemes, land passbooks and other certificates among the beneficiaries of the area.
