GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 17: An awareness camp under the aegis of promotion activities under Prime Minister’s Formalization of Micro Food Enterprises (PM-FME) was organised in District Ganderbal today at Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat here.
The program was formally inaugurated by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Shyambir. Speaking at the event he stressed the committee members and all participants to work in a cluster manner to formalize the unorganized sector of food processing.
The programme was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture officer, Lead District Manager, AD Fisheries, GM DIC, Dist Coordinator NRLM, besides other officers.
District Nodal Officer, PMFME, Dr. Salman Raouf Chalkoo, briefed about various aspects of the schemes and deliberated upon the potential to switch to the processing of produce, which is otherwise let waste.
Mehnaz, Coordinator NRLM and Member of PMFME deliberated about the various aspects of food processing.
Almost 34 participants participated in the programme and instantly 03 cases were booked to be financed under PMFME.
Later, certificates were also distributed among the beneficiaries by ADDC Ganderbal.
