Awantipora 28 August 2021:On 24th of August 2021 Police Station Khrew received a written complaint from one person namely Arshid Ahmad Mir S/o Abdul Ahad Mir R/o Khrew stating therein that during intervening night of 23/24-08-2021 some unknown Burglars have stolen his vehicle Truck bearing Registration No. JK13-3822 which he parked near play ground at khrew loaded with 180 bags of TCI Max Cement.
On receipt of this written complaint case FIR No. 61/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Khrew and investigation set into motion.
During the course of investigation, investigating Team of Police Station Khrew with their strenuous efforts recovered Stolen Truck near wuyan without cement bags. Some suspected persons were picked up who during questioning confessed and admitted their involvement in the commission of crime.
During confession they disclosed that the cement bags in question have been loaded in another Truck bearing Registration No. JK02U-3327 which was also seized on the confession.The identification of the accused persons is given as under:
- Danish Shafi Shah s/o Mohd Shafi Shah R/o New colony khrew.
- zaffer Ah Bhat s/o Bashir Ah Bhat R/o Wuyan
- Reyaz Ah Bhat s/o Mohd Subhan Bhat R/o Wuyan
- Sikandar Ali s/o Ali Mohd Bhat R/o Wuyan.
- Waseem Ishtiyaq s/o Ishtiyaq Ah Ganaie R/o Wuyan.
Besides Awantipora Police assured Community Members that drastic action will be taken against such persons who indulge in Criminal Acts.
