Tral: A group of tutors in Tral area of Southern Kashmir have started an initiative to teach the students in open atmosphere amid coronavirus in Kashmir valley and other parts of the world.

It has been learnt that around five tutors have taken this initiative on Monday morning “with the motive to teach the students of Tral sub district, particularly those who were not able to attend classes online.”

One of the tutors namely Shahid Ali told this journalist that he along with four other colleagues have decided to teach all the 11th and 12th class students with the motive to make them ready for upcoming exams.

He said that students belong to poor and needy families in any area of Tral shall be given free coaching there.

Shahid further said that they are maintaining social distancing properly there and have started to teach medical students on day first.

“We are maintaining social distancing here. The classes are going on in open atmosphere, in the outskirts of Tral. We have started classes for medical students of 11th and 12th today,” Shahid said, adding that classes for arts students shall be started soon.

It’s pertinent to mention here that most of the students were out of touch from studies from couple of months as they were not able to use internet facilities either in absence of smart phones or in absence of mobile network.
