GANDERBAL, JULY 04: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Showkat Ahmad chaired a meeting with the sectoral and district officers to review status of biometric attendance (non aadhar) in government offices in the district here today.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Nisar Ahmad, Chief Planning Officer, Anika Mushtq besides all sectoral and district officers were present in the meeting.
At the meeting, the sectoral and district heads apprised the ADC about the status of biometric attendance at their respective offices.
 After a brief deliberation, the ADC asked the officers to submit the report about the current status of biometric attendance device in their offices besides re-activate the defunct devices at an earliest so that  attendance of employees is monitored electronically.
In the meeting it was decided that all government offices shall submit hard copy report of attendance to the PA section of DC office on daily basis. For this, the ADC asked the district officers to nominate nodal person in their respective offices who shall be given responsibility for ensuring that the hard copy of attendance is submitted to DC office well on time in the morning.
The ADC stressed upon all the officers to enforce discipline and punctuality of the officials besides ensure timely deliverance of services to the public visiting their offices.
The district heads were asked to ensure that all employees mark their attendance through the biometric system besides punctuality in attendance is to be observed by government employees at all levels and take action against habitual offenders.
