Ramban, Feb 23 (KNO): Ramban administration on Thursday received three fully-loaded AC-fitted Critical Care (CC) ambulances from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to cater to the NH-44 related emergencies, officials informed.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that three AC-fitted Critical Care ambulances were provided to the district administration Ramban to cater to the national highway-related emergencies, thereby saving people’s lives.

These ambulances will be stationed at Chamalwas, Ramsooand Chanderkote along the route, he said, adding that people have to call the helpline number for quick response.

He said the highway in Ramban is prone to accidents and the ambulances can help save lives.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ramban, MohitaSharma also tweeted: “1033 – MEDICAL EMERGENCY NUMBER to call these newly inducted critical care ambulances on National Highway in case of an accident. Provided by NHAI.”—(KNO)
