Anantnag: A 25-year-old-boy was killed after being struck by lightning in village thokerpora siligam Ashmuqam area of Anantnag District on Wednesday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Junaid shafi wani, son of Mohd Shafi wani resident of thokerpora siligam Ashmuqam.

A police official confirmed the incident and said the lightning struck near the house of the deceased resulting in his on-the-spot death due to impact of the lightning. He said
