Sumbal, June 8, KNT: A 16 year old boy died on spot after receiving electric shock in Nesbal Sumbal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Local sources said that a 10th class student came in contact with a live HT wire that had fallen near a poplar tree in Nesbal and died instantly.
The deceased has been identified as Zahid Ahmed Reshi son of Abdul Hamid Reshi, a resident of Nesbal Sumbal.
Locals staged a protest against PDD for repairing the rusty poles and electric wires in the area. (KNT)
