Awantipora, Apr 17: Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested two drug peddlers from Tral area.
During naka Checking at Buchoo Tral, Police party of Police Staion Tral arrested 01 drug peddler identified as Yawar Ahmad Wagay S/o Abdul Rashid wagay R/O Saimoh Tral . The arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances and during search 20 grams of Cannabis like substance was recovered from his possession .
Case FIR Number 38/2024 under relevant section of NDPS Act stand registered in Police Station Tral and investigation has been set into motion.
During the investigation of said case one more person identified in backward linkage, namely Mohammad Amin Dar S/O Ab Gaffar Dar R/O Kewi pora Marhama sangam was apprehended from whose possession, 90 grams of cannabis like substance has been recovered.
