An army personnel has been killed while three others have suffered injuries in an ongoing gunfight with militants in Gujjarpati forest area of northern Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A gunfight erupted following specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Apolice officer said that a joint team of Army’s 23 Para commandos, 160 TA, SOG and CRPF Cordoned off the forest areain Gujarpati, Zurhama, .
As the joint team intensified the searches, the hiding militants opened fire triggering a gunfight.
