Srinagar, Jan 14 (KNC): A woman sustained burn injuries after a gas leakage incident in south Kashmir’s Awantipora area, officials said on Wednesday.

 

Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the injured woman was initially taken to PHC Awantipora and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.

 

The woman has been identified 50-year-old, a resident of Awantipora.

 

She allegedly suffered multiple burn injuries due to leakage of cooking gas. Her condition is being monitored by doctors at SMHS Hospital, they said.

 

Meanwhile, authorities have taken note of the incident and further details are awaited. (KNC)
