Srinagar, July 31: A 60-year-old woman and a minor were killed, while as two others were injured on Wednesday night after their makeshift dwelling collapsed in forest area of Amri Bhak Warnow in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Officials told GNS that during the night, a makeshift dwelling collapsed in the Amri Bhak Warnow forest, killing a woman and a minor, while two others were injured.
The deceased have been identified as Marif Noori (60), wife of Mohammad Yousuf Mir, and Aabid Hussain Mir (13), son of Mohammad Shafi Mir, both residents of Aafan Warnow, Lolab. The injured have been identified as Nasreena, wife of Mohd Rafiq Mir, and Tawseef Ahmad Mir, son of Mohd Rafeeq Mir.
Meanwhile, a police team has rushed to the spot to assess the incident.(GNS)
