Kokernag, Oct 10 (KNC): Two persons were injured in a bear attack at Allan Gadool on Friday, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that the injured have been identified as, both residents of Ahalan Gadool. The duo was attacked while cutting grass inside a forested area.
The injured were immediately shifted to SDH Kokernag in stable condition. Subsequently, both were referred to GMC Anantnag for further treatment and medical care, official said.
Authorities have urged locals to exercise caution while entering forest areas and remain alert to the presence of wild animals in the area. (KNC)
