Ganderbal, April 17: Suzain Nissar, daughter of Nissar Ahmad Khan, originally a resident of Mankote in Poonch and currently residing in Ganderbal, has brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by winning a silver medal in the Asmita Pencak Silat League Sub-Junior National Championship held in Chhattisgarh under the banner of Khelo India.
A student of Class 8 at New Tiny Heart School, Ganderbal, Suzain showcased exceptional talent and determination in the traditional Indonesian martial art of Pencak Silat, emerging as one of the top performers in her category at the national level.
The event saw participation from talented young athletes from across the country, making Suzain’s achievement a moment of pride not only for her family and school but also for the entire Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
