Ganderbal, October 13:In a move aimed at bolstering inter-agency coordination and ensuring a robust security framework across the district, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS, today chaired a Multi-Agency Committee (MAC) meeting at the Conference Hall, District Police Office (DPO) Ganderbal.
The meeting witnessed the participation of officers from the Army, CRPF, SSB, CID, and other sister agencies, alongside senior officers of Ganderbal Police. The session focused on reviewing the prevailing security scenario and devising joint strategies to strengthen the overall security grid in the district.
Detailed deliberations were held on key aspects such as intelligence sharing, counter-infiltration measures, area domination, and joint coordination mechanisms among the forces. Special emphasis was laid on maintaining peace and public safety, particularly ahead of the upcoming events and the approaching winter season.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS underscored the significance of real-time information exchange, enhanced field coordination, and joint patrolling to neutralize potential threats. He also urged all participating agencies to maintain a people-friendly approach while remaining vigilant and proactive in their operations.
