New Delhi, June 27 (KNZ) : Delhi Prison authorities on Friday dismissed reports circulating on social media claiming that incarcerated separatist leader Shabir Ahmad Shah is in critical condition.
In an official statement, the Public Relations Officer of Delhi Prisons clarified that Shah, son of Ghulam Ahmad Shah, is receiving regular medical care and his condition remains stable.
“He was referred to Safdarjung Hospital on June 26 for an OPD consultation due to complaints related to lower urinary tract symptoms. He was subsequently admitted for further evaluation,” the statement read.
The jail authorities further confirmed that all test reports have come back normal, and Shah is being given appropriate medical treatment at the hospital.KNZ
